Post-Professional OTDS
I attended Gannon University's post-professional OTD degree program with a future outlook to teaching courses to students and fellow OT practitioners. Recent participation:
-
I started my journey at Gannon in the Summer of 2021 and completed the program in May of 2023 and the learning experience was challenging but rewarding over the two years. The personal and professional growth was uplifting. The program provided structure, accountability, confidence, and hope, all while persevering in trusting the process for obtaining a post-professional doctoral degree.
-
As a leader in the profession of OT, I have learned the importance of research, promoting evidence-based practices, advocating for the profession, and overall professional conduct as a leader. The journey continues to facilitate learning daily as a lifetime learner, which has changed my outlook on functional independence and purpose in life.

Teaching Philosophy
As a professor, I foster an active and inclusive learning environment where relevant subject materials through culturally diverse collaboration enhance active learning opportunities. A holistic learning environment promotes advocacy, diversity, and respect and strengthens cooperation and respect within a learning environment. The learning environment includes shared experiences among professors and students through collaborative means to create critical thinking and professional development.
